subluxation
What is Subluxation?
Subluxation is a state of abnormal motion and/or alignment of the spine. This spinal condition ALWAYS results in spinal bone and tissue decay/degeneration and unhealthy nerve flow
Structural Decay:
Lack of proper motion and alignment causes uneven stresses on the spine and surrounding tissues that leads to inflammation and decay in bones, muscles, discs, ligaments and tendons. This structural decay can cause a great deal of pain, weakness and fatigue. More importantly, just like diabetes, cancer and heart disease, this decay can be causing devastation WITHOUT symptoms
Unhealthy Nerve Flow:
Scientific evidence indicates that altered nerve energy flow from subluxation affects brain function in regions that regulate pain, stress and immunity, thinking, learning, concentration, emotions, organ function, sleep, digestion, overall hormonal and organ regulation, and neuro-musculoskeletal coordination, balance, strength and agility
“The more structurally distorted we are the less energy we have available for metabolism, thinking and healing."
-Roger Sperry - Nobel Prize winner 1982
“Get knowledge of the spine, for this is the requisite for many diseases.”
-Hippocrates
What causes Subluxation?
Physical stressors, Chemical stressors and Emotional stressors are implicated in the cause of Subluxation. These stressors can be present even before birth and many are present on a daily basis in our industrialized lives
Physical Stressors: Improper Intrauterine fetal position, pulling and twisting of the baby’s head during birth, narrowed birth canal due to pelvic Subluxation in birthing mother, sitting with poor posture at school or work, falls and accidents, sports injuries, workplace injuries, improper sleeping postures, lack of exercise, lack of daily full range of motion.
Chemical Stressors: Drugs, industrial chemicals, food additives, and inflammatory food choices (increased dairy, non-organic red meat, decreased fruits and vegetables). These chemical stressors lead to stress hormone release that results in inflamed spinal tissues, tight muscles and restricted joint movement that lead to Subluxation.
Emotional Stressors: Emotional stress leads to stress hormone release resulting in muscular and biochemical changes that create an inflammatory response, tight muscles and restricted joint movement that lead to Subluxation.
Is Subluxation Common?
Yes! In fact Subluxation is pandemic in our industrialized society because the way we currently live is filled with physical, chemical and emotional stressors that cause Subluxation
How do you know if you have Subluxation?
Subluxation and all its accompanying devastating effects on your health can be silent or asymptomatic just like diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
Therefore, the only way to know if you or your loved ones have Subluxation is to get checked by the only person in world trained to detect Subluxation - a Subluxation Specialist Chiropractor.
Can Subluxation be corrected or managed?
Yes! A large body of scientific research provides incontrovertible evidence that programs of regular chiropractic adjustments can improve or completely restore proper motion and alignment to the spine
Chiropractors are the world’s ONLY experts at detecting and correcting Subluxations!!
