Your First Visit

The purpose of your initial consult and exam is for the doctor to gather as much information as possible in order to make the most accurate recommendation in your case.  Your initial paper work provides information about your past and present health history, so please take the time to complete it with accuracy.  The main focus of the exam is to assess your spine for subluxation, which effects overall health and wellness.

The doctor will examine your posture, range of motion, and the muscles and joints of your spine.  Finally, the doctor will take x-rays, if necessary, in your case.

Following your visit the doctor will carefully analyze the results of the exam in order to prepare your report of findings.  This report will be presented on your follow-up visit and will include your individual findings as well as recommendations.  Only in exceptional cases will the doctor perform an adjustment during the initial consult.  This is to ensure that your first adjustment is tailored to your particular needs.

Your initial consult and exam will last approximately 30 minutes.
